These relaxed and fun studio sessions are designed for babies beyond the newborn stage and children, celebrating their growing personalities and the beautiful connection between you and your child.

They are also perfect for motherhood portraits, simple maternity portraits, and small family moments, capturing those quiet cuddles, laughter, and the special bond you share.

These sessions are a beautiful way to capture genuine connection as your little one grows.

Siblings and small family portraits can also be included if you'd like to capture a few moments together.

Your session is secured with a $150 booking deposit, with the remaining balance due prior to your session.

Where are the sessions held?

Studio Portrait sessions take place in my warm and welcoming studio at 27B Royal Arcade, Timaru.

How long will the photoshoot take?

These sessions are short and relaxed, lasting around 30 minutes - perfect for keeping little ones happy and engaged.

Can we include family members?

Absolutely.  These sessions are perfect for mum and baby portraits, siblings or small families.

What should we wear?

Soft, neutral earthy tones tend to photograph beautifully in the studio.  Try to avoid bright colours, large logos, bold stripes or busy patterns.
If your bringing toddlers or young children, it's always a good idea to pack a spare outfit just in case of little accidents.

What if my child doesn't cooperate?

Please don't worry - children rarely behave perfectly in front of a camera, and that's ok!
I have lots of experience photographing babies and young children and have a few tricks up my sleeve to help keep things fun and relaxed.  The best photos often happen when little ones are free to be themselves, so there's no pressure for perfect smiles.

When do we receive the images?

Your private online gallery will be ready within 7 days of your session.  Once you have selected your favourite images, they will be professionally retouched and delievered within 2 weeks. Printed products typically arrive within 4-8 weeks.
